karnythia posed the question of what people's dream houses would be like on blackfolk. I didn't even have to think about it - I instantly went looking for pictures of Second Empire houses. Think the Addams Family house, if you aren't sure what that is - one of those victorian houses with the pitched roof and a tower in the middle that would be a massively kickass place to hold a Halloween party. (This is a good example, though it badly needs repainting and yeesh, the power lines.)

But yeah... If I ever for some inexplicable reason come into a scad of money, that's the sort of house I would absolutely love to have. What about you?

For me, it would be an enormous apartment in an elitny building in midtown Manhattan, Akihabara, and/or Moscow's Garden Ring. Always preferred apartments to houses, and if I'm gonna dream, might as well dream big ^^

My dream house is made of natural materials; I'm not picky about whether it's rammed earth, cob, or straw bales making my walls two feet thick, but thick walls with sculptural details and earthen plasters would make me so happy.
