That's no ordinary rabbit
Oct. 10th, 2007 09:49 pmThe following post is a cheerful departure from Andee's Real Life. Meaning I do not want to talk about it.
1) who else is doing NaNoWriMo this year?
2) who has done it and has advice/comms/insight on why the NaNo site is so gotdamned slow/squeeage to offer?
3) who wants to read the monster I shall birth next month?
I'm still trying to figure out which character/plot bunny I want to go with. I'm leaning towards going for one of the ideas I had a few years ago that I'm not very attached to so I can have fun with it without worrying about the characters rising up to murder me in the middle of the night, but I'm not quite convinced yet. The characters have all gotten very loud in anticipation and are all doing the equivelant of "Oooh! Oooh! Pick ME!" but other than some development I've been doing in my head and occasionally jotting stuff down, I'm valiently ignoring them. Which is tough when you have two groups of teenagers from two entirely different stories/universes trying to get your attention...

3) If you'll read mine. I'm going with a Sleeping Beauty twist this year. The two times I won were A Rose in Bloom and The Sartwell Family Reunion (which still has some tweak needed--like the last 5 chapters). Clearly, my pattern to win is Lesbians.
