result... it sort of averaged out. Feeling like shit on Saturday ultimately meant not making it to Albany at all, with the additional bonus of feeling like a heel on top of that.

You know, I don't understand that expression. I watch professional wrestling. Heels are anything but remorseful or guilty about their actions, damn it. Just look at Randy Orton strutting around and sneering at everything some time on Monday. He's an aaaaaaaaaasshole. So why does feeling like a heel mean you feel bad about whatever you've done? Bah. I call shenanigans.

Side note over. Saturday ended up being the West Wing Marathon of Doomy Doom. Gods. Dvds I swear are the best things ever to happen to broadcast TV series. I mean, sure you have to wait until long after they've aired, but season finale cliffhangers are WAY less annoying.

Sunday the Amoeba Girls went to Six Flags Fright Fest. Overall the day was fun, though there were two line rides of 1 hr plus that pissed me the hell off and really made me want to knife the fastpass folk. I mean, I get the whole, pay an extra arm and a leg and be able to skip to the front of the line, but I wish that didn't consistantly slow down the progress of folk in the regular line. Gah. Whatever. Anyway, back and digestion aren't happy with me for another prolonged period of time hanging out outside in the cold (least I had a coat yesterday). Oh and no love whatsoever for the Wiggles. They took out my favorite ride to put in a live stage show for that mess. You know the one with the swings that goes around and lifts you at the same time? yeah. It's gone. It's truly a fabulous feeling having your childhood raped by someone else's. :P

But the rest of the day was pretty fabulous. :) Highlights included two haunted houses, their version of the Cyclone turned out to be just as fun as I remember after the frikin hour and fifteen on line, being horrified by the new Catapult ride (ok me and hopefully no one else == not that crazy), [livejournal.com profile] sundart being menaced by a zombie, and [livejournal.com profile] sydneycat and I getting airbrush tattoos. I frikken love these things. I wanna go somewhere and get bigger sections of my body airbrushed now.

So yeah, I guess the weekend overall averaged out at about a B-/C+ish.

Wednesday is Halloween. There are pumpkins to deal with, Trick or treaters to scare, and people whose memories need to be honored. I don't know if we're doing soul cakes this year, I'll have to ask [livejournal.com profile] sundart. Seems a bit of a waste to not, as we once again live near the big ass crossroad in the middle of town. :)

For now, off to the salt mines work.
