kjpepperThe shopping for the season is done. Time to put away the credit card until next December. Maybe by then I will have paid off the obscene amount I spent this winter on various Giftmasses. We will not be doing THAT again next year, ugh.

innostrantsa. I love it when she comes to town, she truly makes snark into a fine art. Much tooling and shopping was had, and a little bit of diabetic shock by way of simply walking into Ben and Bill's Chocolate Emporium and inhaling. Now there's a place that will kill you by aroma alone... actually, there's a disturbing thought, there's probably one or two people on my flist for whom that is literal truth. :o yeeep. Anyway, I can has jellybeans laterz. Jellybeans. mmmm.
innostrantsa and i were having this moment on the way home where we both started channelling our inner baptist ministers. So wonderful. Not too many people truly get the true joy and rapture that can be milked out of a phrase like "WHEN YOU PUT YOUR TOAST IN THE TOASTAH... WHO POP UP? JEEEEEEEEESUS!" Anyways, we did that out loud long enough to garner some terrified stares from surrounding white folk, and of course this inspired us to go home and watch Coming To America and heckle the bloody blue hell out of it (I love watching movies I love with people that also love the movie to death enough to heckle, howl with laughter at and recite along with it with you). Just let your SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUL GLOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! *glass shatters* hee hee hee. I must find a screencap of the Zamundan royal family lined up along the counter of McDowells. innostrantsa made a very good point in which that would make a fucking wonderful version of that "THE NEGRO COMMUNITY FROWNS ON YOUR SHENANIGANS" macro. -- (Found one, though if someone can find me the same shot, not as jpeg degraded, I'd be eternally grateful.)
Anyway, great time was had, and hopefullyinnostrantsa will make it back through for Thursday night's TNA hilarity. She needs to be introduced to Awesome Kong.
I heard this morning that Sean Penn and Robin Wright are divorcing.... I know, this is a definite bit of "and we care why?" but in some very small way, this has altered my world. I mean... Robin Wright dude. She was the Princess Bride, and well, other than a few movies here and there (Forrest Gump, Beowulf...) she hasn't done all that much but you know, be married to Sean Penn. I don't know, it made me go "Huh," for a minute.... Gonna stop babbling about it nau tho, kthx.
