1) American Gladiators fucking RULED. Ruled, I tell you. Totally watching it tonight as well.

2) To the person that stole morlock's ipod/itrip out of his cab last night and was stupid enough to go bragging about it where people can hear you about how you're going to sell it... If I ever find out who you are, you'd better look to your sticky little fingers and pray that is not the day I happen to be carrying pruning shears. I know that scene from Bound by heart, and I will reenact it on your ass.

3) squee to both extrajoker and lostcircuit for being the belated christmas fairies. I love the book and the DJ turntable pillow made me laugh a lot when I needed it. I now need to find someplace to put it. e-j... we NEED to hang out sometime. What is next weekend looking like?


A funny story from my travels before it's lost in the ether - yesterday I was waiting to buy my ticket home at PA... and I hear John Cena's entrance music start playing. As people who hang with us know that is not only sydneycat's general ringtone, but mine and morlock's as well for calls from her. Anyway, not a very common ringtone, so I'm diving for my phone, forgetting that I had it set on vibrate, and I see one of the ticket agents pick up his cell and go into the back... I was all HOLY SHIT SOMEONE ELSE HAS THAT RINGTONE! I was so zomg that I had to call sydneycat and tell her all about it.

Anyway the guy comes back, and by luck I wind up with him processing my ticket, and while we're doing so we're totally being WWE fansquees. He's actually met Cena, and apparently he's as nice a guy as he seems to be. Huzzah for big dorky fans.


and today... back into the salt mines...

That was one of the most horrifying scenes from a movie ever. It's never too far from my mind, and I saw it in the theater years ago.

I saw that pillow and just thought, Andee needs this. And if you actually want to use it as a pillow, you can just flip it over and lay your head on black velvet, rather than nubby metallic-fiber bumps. ;) Anyway, glad it gave you a laugh.

I'm not sure about this weekend. As always, I have game Sunday 12-4. Otherwise, I think I'm open.

Actually....

It just occurred to me that you might be interested in the Spiderwick exhibit at The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art (http://www.picturebookart.org/Home). Maybe Saturday. And maybe sundart and inle_rah and whoever else could come, and we could pretend we were on a field trip. Or something. Hmmm....
