Trainquake!

Woke up at 5:30 am to the rattle and hum of my house shaking, and shaking hard. No, we weren't having an earthquake, though it would have been about a 4.5er if we were. Nope, just a particularly heavy 3 engine freight train passing across the street. Was kinda neat really, laying in bed, listening to my candleholders rattle and the house moving under my bed, wondering it anyone else had been awakened by the trainquake but me, and thinking that Californians sleep through this shit regularly.
