Yesterday kind of wandered into somewhat blah territory around 2 ish, after I got back from a brisk ride downtown and [livejournal.com profile] sundart cooked some yumtastic brunch. Mmm, that girl is still the only person who can make an omlette I can eat. Plus there were Bruegger's bagels and maple cured ham to be devoured as well... unfortunately something about brunch (probably the cheese in the omlette) violently disagreed with me later, so I spent most of the evening being rather delicate of intestine. Feh.

I took a nap after brunch, after playing long distance tricks on [livejournal.com profile] birkwelch. (heh heh) [livejournal.com profile] sundart was all curled up in bed talking to him, so I curled up with her, and quite accidentally fell asleep. Will have to work on not doing that this winter, but we all know what happens when your house is kinda cold and you hop into bed next to someone warm under a pile of blankets. Well, I don't know about every one else, but I go right to sleep! It's almost as bad as being in a moving vehicle for more than 45 minutes...

Post nap I was a little too groggy and sick to do much that was productive, so I curled up quietly next to [livejournal.com profile] sundart and we both worked on some projects for our respective bishounen. At some point [livejournal.com profile] darkling_dreams called and we worked out a communication error (yes I'm a geek) that had been happening all week, whereupon she came over with a Japanese flick by the same people that did Ringu called Dark Water. Austin's friends [livejournal.com profile] papabearyg and ... shit, forgot name... also were over and we watched the movie, which turned out to be ripe for the mst3king as we were expecting much more creeptastic things to be happening and faster. At one point [livejournal.com profile] papabearyg fell asleep rather audibly on the couch, and after some roomwide giggling I said something to the effect of "Hmm, looks like people aren't dying fast enough. And it was true, for a while the scariest thing about the movie was a water stain on the cieling. Drip. Oooh. While there were Ringu-like elements towards the end of the movie, overall it had no urgency and was pretty disappointing. As an MST3K movie it was great. :)

Need to get more done than I have been... Well, onwards!

What's a bishounen?

bishounen = pretty boy. Usually applied to the gorgeously androgynous leading men in anime. The equivelant for girls would be bishoujo.
