Two reasons why I feel kinda like a bad person today

1) I ruined one of my favorite saucepans trying to boil one of those crystallizing heat packs. I basically put it on the stove to boil, walked away and forgot about it. Cue burned pan, ruined dishtowel and broken heat pack. Oh and an hour of noxious fumes filling the first floor. Go me.

2) You know that new Coldplay song that's everywhere? Viva La Vida? The one that they allegedly stole from some indie band that's now suing them? Yeah, that one. ...I really REALLY like it. *shame* *hide*

Apparently it's come out that they didn't, that the indie band was just claiming that to get publicity. So no need to feel bad about enjoying it.

Except for the fact that it's *Coldplay*. She knows she's dropping her geek cred a few points liking anything by Coldplay. I for one am suitably horrified. Also...I'm the one who had to deal with the pot...so extra ribbing from me shall have to happen.

geeks don't like Coldplay? My geeks do, but they're transplanted Brits, so perhaps that's just the homesickness compromising their better sense.

AGHHHH not Coldplay *shudders with fear* Also good job with the saucepan :P, but don't let sydneycat give you to much of a hard time. I remember when she did the same thing back when you all were still in Amherst.
