This site rates your neighborhood by determining how walkable it is. Pretty much this is determined by seeing what type of amenities are within walking distance from your house.

I find it funny that Camp Amoeba has a better walkability score (92 - Walker's Paradise) than The House in Brooklyn (76), but they do say that they fail to take public transportation into account, which is probably the only reason why.

I'm amused to know that there are people on my flist that have a zero score.

My neighborhood is moderately walkable on that site but I feel the score goes down when you factor in the fantastic hill that you have to climb to head east on the main street from here. This hill about killed my car last winter so I know it would truly kill me. :)

434 of me, which surprises me not at all since I know of at least 2 others in my own town with the same full name. 1 of 'em I found out about because we worked at the same temp company and office.

Only 1 of my partner CS, tho'.

I probably have a wider view of what's walkable than normal, but I find it funny that none of the closest things to me are places I walk to. Except the library.

Also, according to my first name, there's a 99.9 percent chance that I'm female.

Heh, my home got all of 2. And I'm pretty sure their algorithm doesn't factor in the fact that I'm on the peak of a steep-ass hill.

Yay! My little house in the burbs got a 42. Not bad. At least it's not 0.

Zero here. At least 1.4 miles from, well, *anything*. And no sidewalks to get there.
