Actually, I was told by my sister that most hospitals allow parents to film in the delivery room anymore. They do that to protect themselves against malpractice lawsuits.

I'm still a bit on the fence about in hospital births, though knowing me and my profoundly messed up health I might not have an option. In which case, cell phones are tiny and smuggleable.
