Quick notes
Nov. 24th, 2008 04:21 pmIn brooklyn, but not home - hanging with the blue and chilling out before hopping a train and winging northward tomorrow morning. As always once the road has been gotten on I'm okay with being on it - much like everything in my life the main problem is getting started. Once I'm on my way, I'm okay.
Watched the Colbert Christmas Special last night. OMG. So much very very wrong with that show.
Smart idea for the week: taking the time to reprogram the medalert watch C and J got me after the PE. I am horrible about remembering my pills outside of my normal routines - I strongly suspect that one of the contributing factors of the last meltdown was the last time I was on the road I went off the crohns meds entirely. Granted I now remember why I stopped wearing it in the first place considering the alarm makes me want to stab things, but I admit the annoyance has kept me on track since being gone, so I guess it's doing its job.
Five Guys on Seventh Avenue... REALLY GOOD BURGERS OMG. Every time I come home I discover something new and different here. I love my city, yep.
Feeling a little less dour about the rest of the trip... course, having the couple of days to chill out before heading out to see family in Lake Effect Snow, New York is definitely a good thing.
