blew a vein in my elbow during blood draw. I'm now in possession of a tight painful bruise the size of a quarter that hurts like a bitch. The only thing saving it from being a total fail is that it's not quite in the crease, so I can at least bend it without wincing. Still. Ow.

actually, no, one that's drawn me a few times before. this is the first time we had a problem.

Yeah...I had a doctor blow the vein on my wrist once. Like you said, it swelled up and hurt a lot. The sucky part though was that I had a hard time using that hand for the next day or two.
