I just got a call from Dr. Tassoni. My VCE film's been reviewed, and apparently my small intestine is fucked up enough with ulceration that he's sending me to UMass for a second opinion and put Dr Holly on red alert in case I show up in the ER again.

Excuse me. I have to have a panic attack now.

Apparently whatever's f*cking up has been busted by the doc, deep breaths and thoughts positive until you know more...

Yes, this. Now they know, so now they can work on fixing the underlying issue. Halfway there.
*hugs*

That sucks. I hope modern medicine is up to the challenge. Good news, I suppose, is that now that you know, you can take steps to improve things on your own.

Ugh! Not again. On the bright side, at least they caught it before it turned into an emergency...unlike last time. I'm going to keep all of my fingers and toes crossed that things turn out well for you.

That certainly doesn't sound good. But yes, knowing now is better than knowing (almost) too late, and it sounds as though you're in good hands.
