IN YOUR SENIOR YEAR...
Feb. 21st, 2009 07:37 amfor some reason I'm not as into memes on Facebook. I think it's because I really don't like the Notes interface at all. Figured since this automatically crossposts I can get around it.
1. Did you date someone from your school? Sort of. It wasn't really dating exactly.
2. Did you marry someone from your high school? Nope.
3. Did you car pool to school? Nope - subway, then bus. Or walk. With book. There are a couple of lamp posts on 23rd Street that remember me.
4. What kind of car did you have? It was New York City. Car?
5. What kind of car do you have now? Theoretically I've got a 1994 Oldsmobile cutlass. Which I also dreamed about last night.
6. What kind of car did you want? Wasn't interested. Again, New York City. Who really needs/wants one?
7. Its Friday night…where are you now? Actually, it's saturday. In my room being daunted by boxes.
8. It is Friday night…where were you then? Home watching TGIF and talking to Konstantin on the phone.
9. What kind of job did you have in high school? I didn't.
10. What kind of job do you do now? Code monkey take long walk back to cubicle she sit down, pretend to work.
11. Were you a party animal? Hell no.
12. Were you considered a flirt? Too shy then.
13. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? String ensemble. They wouldn't let me be in both that AND band.
14. Were you a nerd? YEP.
15. Did you get suspended or expelled? nah. I wasn't that interesting
16. Can you sing the fight song? We didn't have one. We had the OPPOSITE of one. We had "Let there be Peace on Earth." Gah.
17. Who was/were your favorite teacher(s)? Specific to senior year? Can't remember who I had, but I'll go with my favorites in general - Mr. Banton (English), M. Bassene (French), Mrs. Chernyavskaya (Russian), Scott Lang (Media Lab), Ms. Knox (English/Drama), Mr. Tobey (violin/string ensemble), and Mr. Fairchild (band... RIP, man *sniff*)
18. Where did you sit during lunch? Cafeteria mostly. Occasionally the science Kiva, the English lounge or the student lounge.
19. What was your school’s full name? United Nations International School (Manhattan Campus)
20. When did you graduate? 1996
21. What was your school mascot? They had pretty much phased it out by the time I hit high school but it was a panda wearing a U letter jacket.
