kjpepperIt's fucking cold out there. Oh my god, you don't know PAIN until you've had to thaw out some seriously frozen fingertips. I don't think they were frostbitten, but they were definitely numb and cold and DAMN did they hurt as the feeling came back. Also weirdly enough the bridge of my nose got super cold too - I was really annoyed by the fact that I had a brainfreezy without the benefit of a cherry slurpee to go with it.
It snowed a very little bit last night, and when I walked the bike out to the street I stopped, dazzled, as the morning sun (which rises right in front of the driveway these days) reflected off of millions of ice crystals. Prismatically. It looked like someone shattered a rainbow in our driveway. Goddess, it was beautiful.
today was just a little stupid, but only because I made the mistake of having coffee, which makes me jittery, irritable, and unable to concentrate, not to mention it wreaks havoc on my digestive system, though that last bit might be more due to the cream and sugar than the coffee. One of these days I'll get it and never touch it again, but apparently this was not the day. *sigh*

primitive_boy is still at the shop and beatgoddess is doing her Thursday night things. I put timarok to bed, and look forward to an evening of cooking up pasta and cleaning the cesspit, as I would like to get that room cleaned and rearranged before sundart gets back on Saturday. It's so weird, it doesn't at all feel like she's been gone almost a week already.
The one thing I don't mind about the fact that stores put their holiday crap out ridiculously early these days is... it is now officially Cadbury Egg season! (Isn't Xtian Easter in like, April? Scheisse, people, it isn't even Lent yet!) *bawks like a bunny* Anyone out there want to win my undying affections, bring me caramel eggs and beg for my MERCY PUNY MORTALS!! MUUUUUUUUHAHAHA!
