In MD, hanging with the fam. Trying not to laugh at the fact that we had watermelon and ham for breakfast. I KNOW.

It's funny... the older we all get the less we change. I find that oddly comforting.

Had a hard time getting to sleep so I spent some time poking the nets and thinking about stuff - mainly money and my health. Something's adversely affecting me down in NY to the point where I'm getting eczema and cold sores with a vengeance not to mention the concentration/mood issues are off the chain. I'm starting to wonder if I'm allergic to more than just the pollen (which thank the gods, is abating finally). may have to make a concentrated effort to change my diet again... which means getting off my ass and actually going shopping for myself again. I really don't have an excuse, I know where both Trader Joes and Stop and Shop are relative to me.

Also poking the nets looking at apartments and costs and stuff. I can still make it back by summer's end, I think, and it looks like the Cara sitch is going to work out. So fingers crossed.

There's supposed to be some kind of pre-wedding smack talk and kickball tourney with the extended family later on today. I'm excited about it, I haven't really seen a lot of my cousins since Grandma's funeral a couple years ago. I am, as always, kind of astounded by the power of a wedding or a funeral to bring family and friends together.

I'm being ordered off the computer to be social now. ;) More later...
