Wow, when was the last time I had a weekend home that didn't suck? Cool.

Austin and I went to Stop and Shop this evening originally just to purchase kitty litter (gawd, some days I wish I could tape them fuzzy creatures' anuses (ani?) shut) and allergy meds. We were originally going to go to AssFart but no one told us they closed at 9 instead of at 10 on Sunday. Bastards. Anyway, it was good - Austin was looking for things to make for dinner since all of us now are on strange dietary restrictions (no wheat for Carole, little to no dairy for me, and less sugar for everyone) She wound up getting some mad crazy stuff - we're apparently going to have some sort of rabbit stew tomorrow night. I've never had rabbit before. Should be interesting. :) Anyway, usually going to Stop and Poop is usually an ignominious experience, but tonight Austin and I were having a good time cooking up (ha ha) ideas for tomorrow's dinner.

Tomorrow I go to work to quickly tie up some loose ends, then I remain free free free until Wednesday. I was originally supposed to go to New York this weekend and took the time off, but didn't wind up going, as the past week left me tired and insane. Wheee. Will have to find something really good to spend the extra day and a half on. :) Like getting my hair back into string.

I'd like to say that some people suck cock. I passed a car on my bike earlier today that had a bumper sticker on it that said "First Iraq. Then France." Friggen' tools. Bash 'em good. At least it wasn't a Skinni Pooper. But I was having suck a good day that I actually found the sticker amusing rather than wanting to break things in response. Yay.

Not sure how I will spend the rest of my evening. Probably forging a little further into Cryptonomicon - haven't had much of a chance to read it all week. Then sleep. Sleep is good...
