Hi ho, Kermit the Frog here... well, no not really.

I did wind up conking out early last night. And yet I've become such a creature of habit; I found myself wide awake at six thirty this morning. Not that I object that much, I've discovered that I like getting up early and watching the sun rise, as it were. Mostly I like getting up early and farting around on the computer a bit. :)

I woke up [livejournal.com profile] timarok and talked to him for a couple of hours, and then [livejournal.com profile] sundart and I had ourselves an expidition to the Hampshire Mall, she for a staff meeting, me for the ride. Mostly. Well, at least the ride was fun - Phil was driving the bus this morning, and he's always a big gay laugh riot. Wandered into Media Play while I was waiting for [livejournal.com profile] sundart, found one of those surreal Anne Hooper sex manuals that somehow manage to feature naked people but still keeps all the really naughty bits covered. Also found a book discussing vampires in terms of forensic science that I didn't get a chance to look at because [livejournal.com profile] sundart's staff meeting took like a mousefart's amount of time and she had come to find me. So we went off to the new Target in search of blank CDs and rechargeable batteries. They have rather enthralling, not at all sickening Valentine's Day merchandise, believe it or not. There was a super cheap red T-shirt (seriously, it was like $5) that I would have bought if it came in an XL that said "YOU'RE SWEET AND I'VE GOT THE MUNCHIES" that I liked a lot, even if it wasn't nearly as funny as the boxers covered in pictures of a lovesick Tasmanian Devil. Frankly, if I had to have a WB character fall in love with me, I can't really decide which would be worse - Taz or Pepe Le Pew.

To the ATM, where I grumbled a bit about the shoddy state of my finances, and then onwards to Bread and Buttkiss, for lots and LOTS of O'Soy. Oh boy, has it been a while since I had a sweet creamy soy yogurt fix. *cry* And now I have a fridge full of such wonderous flavors as strawberry, vanilla, and lemon... no peach this time. Life is good.

Back to downtown northampton, where [livejournal.com profile] sundart, hearing of my good luck with Acme Surplus wool socks, decided to get herself a few pairs, and got me some strawberry soy kefir, as my blood sugar had collapsed beyond all hope at this point and I was CRANKY. And then up the hill, stopping at the student center so I could buy my math book (wince) and then we came home.

Plan for the rest of the day - lots and lots of laundry, perhaps some Pirates of the Assybean, doing my math homework, finishing up We for English, and the programming part of my computational linguistics homework.
