Jan. 8th, 1989 06:00 pmI ran! I ran the 55m and the 200m. I had fun. Stanley and amanda came over. Tonight, I had a Fight with mom. Everybody's trying to teach me discipline. I already know!
hmmph. Must have been one of those "Mind what I say!" fights. Oh well, at least by this time I was too old to be smacked around. I think. I hope! grrr . . .
Stanley and Amanda coming over was about the highlight of the weekend when they did. I think it was because (and this is still true) they were the only people in my family who didn't get off on the whole "I am the Adult, and you are the Child" bullshit, and instead talked to me like I was a human being. Mad props to them for that - it's tough being the little kid in a family of grown-ups.
