Much better day today . . .

This morning was a little shaky, but I had a really productive day at work. Checked my livejournal upon coming home to find nine (count 'em!) accolades as to my beribboned (well, beyarned) cuteness. Go me, or as gossamer_gull would say, Daaaaaaaaamn, I'm a fine looking woman!

Next stop is to run about like a headless chicken for a few hours, as tonight is the Saints and sinners ball at Haven and g.g., inle_rah and the ever so Possibly sundart will be tricked out as our best virgins/whores and we will dance dance dance! and supposedly I get to see denonymous tonight too - and it's been years, or so it feels like so that will be fun. Except I just realized I'd left the shoes I was going to wear at work. bleh. Ah well, I've got a couple more pairs that will work. (yes, there will be pictures. :) ) So beforehand dishes need to be washed, litterboxes to be destinked, trash to be taken out and clothing to be found, and then off we go.

Had an amusing thought during my braindead commute to work, speaking of Haven. I was thinking hmm, here I am all cute with nice fresh yarn, and it's going to get all cigarette smokey tonight. How to fix this? There's the shampoo it option - this will hold up to a scrubbing (done it before) . . . and then my brain said Febreze. And I laughed my ass off.

Wonder if we have any?

Gearing up for the Havening

a) new LJ icon, based on the accolades. :)
b) Possibly sundart is now Definitely sundart, barring absolute disaster. *swoon* why doesn't that girl wear spiky collars more often??? *drool*
c) Timekiller, Blue Lights, and Panzermensch on loop as I write this and bounce, getting ready to take out the trash. No, I'm not excited, what gave you that idea?
d) No Febreze, I checked. Going to have to take me chances with leftover Nexxus. Although the Febreze would have been fucking funny. That's really okay, I've got a big meeting tomorrow and while I don't want to reek like cigarette smoke I also don't want to smell like disinfected upholstery either.
e) Debating on whether I want to shave my legs or not - I am wearing an insanely short skirt tonight. Not like anyone's going to be looking, really.
f) Damn . . . I see what sundart means. There's something about my cute little pout done up in burgundy or black that makes me all hot even. Should cultivate lipstick habit. Possibly a Colorstay one, so I can still kiss people. Though there is something really perversely yummy about sundart really really wanting to kiss me and showing it, but not being able to for fear of big lipstick smear across her face . . . my my, I'm evil . . . haven't even gotten dressed yet and the night is too hot to handle. :)

All right, me take out trash now.
