Cute GothLast night, despite a mild case of the tired crankies, I got all dressed up and went down to Haven in the company of a very cute [livejournal.com profile] gossamer_gull, whom I should have taken a picture of as well because we put her hair in pigtails and [livejournal.com profile] beatgoddess made her up and she looked cuuuuuuuuuuuuute. :) Between the two of us we were the twisted kindergarteners. :) Gothic day, sweeping the sun away... on my way to where the clove smoke's sweet...

Stopping that now.

And damn it we need a better digicam in the house. Feh. At least I look cute. I should make that an icon...

As always, once the dressing and the makeup are done, I'm always glad to go. :) We got into Otto, where I squealed with delight about Jack's new friend Rizzo the Rat, and drove to Divas, whereupon g.g. and I had to tear up the car looking for a small bag with her id in it, with no success (ack!) and then as we were heading back to the Casita to look there, g.g. remembered she'd stuck it in her boot.

Diva's then, take two. (roll it!)

The club was fairly dead to tell you the truth, but I didn't really care, as I had g.g. and [livejournal.com profile] inle_rah and [livejournal.com profile] ladygwyn for company, not to mention I was super excited to see [livejournal.com profile] sydneycat who looked all cute in her little gold top dancing her heart out. What was a little lame was that the DJs were having an off night where the bad stuff completely cleared the floor and the good stuff was good, but all part of the Haven Top 40 - stuff they play every week, you know. Then there was the weirdness of hearing Evanescence and Moby. Wha? I had a good time though. Especially scandalizing the little gay cashier who told me I had to let him peek into my little red clubbing bag or I had to check it, so I graciously let him peek. "Don't worry, no tampons in here ... this week," I teased, and got a very satisfying and very gay squawk of horror. I kept harassing him throughout the evening as I would check my bag to dance, then need to write down something ten minutes later, so I tipped him well for putting up with my b.s.

Granted they play this shit every week, but stuff I enjoyed flailing to last night involved Panzermensch, Dead Stars (still burn), A matter of time, Call the Ships (not Shits, like I originally wrote) to Port, and . . . well, anything by Wolfsheim. Though I think next time I have lightsticks to flail with I might have to request Touch. Meow.
