Home from
gossamer_gull's and
inle_rah's, despite some perilous snow and hills. Whew! Go g.g. for safely navigating Otto through the worst of it.
Good weekend was had. Got through the entire third season of Buffy. Highlights included: ( spoilers )
g.g. was crafting some pretty amazing stuff during the weekend. And to thinks, nothing was ruined by cats and none of her glue spooged on her either. :)
First night after the Buffy was done and inle and
sundart had gone to bed, g.g. and I had some good long quality time talking about stuff. I like our late night conversations - she always has a somewhat different angle on things and it's usually one I haven't considered. And she's not shy about pointing out things that I may not want to hear either, which helps a lot, even if it squicks a bit at first. Anyway, had deep philosophical conversation with her first, then she went to bed, and it was 6:30 in the morning and I wasn't sleepy, so I called
timarok and had deep philosophical conversation #2 of the night/morning (gotta love six hour time differences. and hey, I've got to eat up a 23 hour calling card in the next fifty someodd days... so why not?) So after an hour and a half of that,
sundart woke up and I spent half an hour summarizing deep philosphical conversations one and two to her... and then I went to sleep. Fun for everyone! :) Still, I've been kind of pensive and dreamy all weekend... Not in an angsty way, just a wheels are turning way.
Snow outside pretty. At least it doesn't sound like it's sleeting anymore. Ah well, looks like I'll be home to help clear the driveway and walks tomorrow, among other things I plan to do with my day off... *sigh*
