And as for today (yesterday)?

no no, it's officially yesterday and this morning, as the sun is up, even though I haven't actually gone to bed tonight. Considering I slept off a big chunk of yesterday evening, that's okay. I'm hungry, but not sleepy.

Yesterday was kind of a wash, it was cold and nasty for the most part, and I was messed up mood-wise so I spent quite a bit of it asleep in self defense. Watched Queer Eye with sundart, had one of those weirdly unproductive conversations with timarok, didn't ultimately make it down to the photo place, will have to go on Monday. *sigh* ah well, as long as I have the prints done before Haven on Tuesday I think it will be ok. Played Puzzle Pirates the rest of the time. The bit where I spent 8:30 until midnight curled up asleep with sundart was very very nice... boy nothing like getting sexiled from your room for a couple of weeks to make you appreciate your own bed. ;)

Granted there was a lot more interesting stuff going on headspacewise, but I don't really feel like getting into it.

Had one of those 4 am conversations with beatgoddess... which actually was good. Hopefully we'll keep talking. I want to say more about it, but if I don't stick something in my stomach like now, it's going to claw its way up my esophagus and try to digest my head.

Hmm, distubing image. I should probably sleep soon.

small annoyances

• Oh, the trials of black hair vs turbo hair dryer. There I stood hair dryer screaming along at its highest and hottest setting, attempting to tame the fro into something resembling straight, when I got an impromptu lesson in the conductivity of metal. Note to self - take off necklace before blow drying hair. Ow.
  
  
• I need to stop being in denial about my pants size. I've been swimming in my 20s for about a month now. You know it's bad when you can yank off the jeans that formerly fit you so well it felt like you were poured into them without unbuttoning or unzipping. No, I'm not pleased about this, I've got a drawer full of pants that I really like that are now way too big even with a belt, and I can't exactly do the new wardrobe thing, thanks. Currently I'm wearing a pair of sundart's old jeans, which are 18s and comfy. Not tight. Comfy. Eeep. *sigh* I just bought new jeans, too. *grumble*
  
  
• My ear piercings are so weird. Three random ones have no problem, even though I haven't worn earrings in the last two holes in a couple of months (must get new steel rings next time I'm near Roz's), three I had to repunch. yowch.
  
  
• Our sink clogs at the drop of a hat. I can't stand and do all the dishes in one go.

In other news, a fairly uneventful day, really.
