Some random impressions from today.

I swear, Prisoner of Ass gets better with each viewing.

That headstone place on rt. 9 over by the mall has twin towers headstones, how creepy is that? Of course being the consummate NYer, I wanted to check if it was just 1 and 2 (the actual twin towers) or whether the rest of the WTC complex (3-9) pre 9/11 was included as well. Probably not. Bastards.

Now that Media Play's closed, there's this yawning space where the fixtures used to be and quite a few square yards of floorspace. I think they should move interskate (not interstake, as I first wrote) in there. Or have floor hockey or something. Course they're probably just going to put in a best buy. These folks have no imaginations.

The new "in" color scheme right now is "citrus." Freakishly lurid shades of orange, "lime," "lemon," and "pink grapefruit." Yeeesh.

Ya know, sunny-d? we should make a pact to hang out together outside of the house for a little bit each weekend. :)

Man, I was tired this morning! sundart has somehow made a morning person of me (which when combined with my natural nightowl tendancies means I don't sleep that much) but despite efforts to rouse me for our agreed upon breakfast date, I managed to sleep until like 10:30. I usually get up at 8 at the latest. Ah well, guess I needed the sleep. Anyway, I did manage to get up eventually, and sundart and I went down to Friendly's for a yummy sunday morning tuck-in. Again, I do appreciate the time out we spend together - somehow when we're both in the house lately we're either too wrapped up in our own little projects and lately, puzzle pirating our asses off. (speaking of which, filthyassitant? who are your pirates again?) But when we go out, we talk and hang out, which is fun and something we need to make a little more time for. Like yay.

So we got home and played PP. ( yeah yeah, pirates, mothers, cocks, hell, yarr. We get it, shut up. )
