Sometimes I hate the pervasiveness of pop culture. I mean I loathe "Friends" with just about every fiber of my being. And yet the lilting strains of "Smelly Cat" drifted into my head as I was dragging the litterbox riddled trash to the curb. Why do I fucking know "Smelly Cat?" *growl, grrr grumble* Damn you VH1, and your pop culture retrospectives!

Posting during a raging thunderstorm is probably massively stupid, huh? ;)

Ah well. I unplugged the laptop. I should be more or less ok.

Still feeling icky, but the rain and the rumblies raging outside and the self-satisfaction that I beat the storm home by a margin of five minutes helps quite a bit.

going to go hydrate the fuck out of myself and possibly take a nap. Whatever I decide to do, it will probably involve fending off an over-affectionate dumb blond boycat with both hands.
