we're going to the peace pagoda today! Awfuck, I never charged my camera battery. *runs*

last time [livejournal.com profile] sundart and I went Mapquest got us mired in unpaved road land. I have since come to understand that this is a common occurence in Leverett, but the taking the shortcut down a dirt road with a big sign that said "NOT PLOWED IN WINTER" was quite an adventure. That day, [livejournal.com profile] sundart, [livejournal.com profile] gossamer_gull and I discovered Cranberry Pond, so it wasn't all bad. (actually, it wasn't bad at all, just... adventurous.)

Today we head up there with [livejournal.com profile] morlock and [livejournal.com profile] sydneycat, and it promises to be a beautiful day and a very easy drive from Amherst, provided we don't miss the turns we need. After my latest adventure in Navigating In the Boonies (up in Haydenville that time) I'm kinda leery of street signage, so who knows.

Anyway, if sunny and I are to be out of the house by ten, I have much running aroundage to do. :)

kinda tired and introspective, so I'll do the big fat post about today tomorrow morning. But I will say this. My six year old self seriously came out to play today. (no, the icon is me at four, but close enough, the spirit was the same.) The kid who leaves the Goddess offerings of bubblegum and creates sacred circles by playing hopscotch on the lotus paving stones all the way around the pagoda.

It was a good day to play with the powers that be. Next time, tag.
