Winter seems to be experiencing long overdue death throes, so I'm putting a call to arms out.

I NEED to get licensed ASAP. Anyone with an automatic transmission in the MA area willing to help me do this will have the usual in return, gas money, eternal thanks, inclusion in my personal pantheon, maybe the odd sexual favor or two if you're really nice. ;)

Then maybe I'll visit you more often, being all drivey n shit.

You know, that creepy little boy from The Ring a) would have made an excellent Squee about five years ago b) is going to be totally creepy-hot in a very Giovanni Ribisi sort of way in a few years. And flawed as the TV version was, he made an excellent EXCELLENT Charles Wallace in A Wrinkle in Time.

So Ring 2 was interesting. Not really all that scary, I think the story kind of exhausted it's scare factor in the first one. But this one was a beautifully photographed exercise in seriously disturbing imagery and ways to make the mundane utterly creeptastic through well applied use of sound.
