(no subject)

Ugh. Wow. I don't know what kind of ExLax bullshit they put in sub sandwiches these days but damned if I'm ever eating one again. Made the mistake of having Subway this afternoon, and am now enjoying the strange and fascinating world of food poisoning. I'll be vastly surprised if I even make it to bed by 3 at this point. Ah well, it's giving me a chance to finally catch completely up with Dykes to Watch Out For, since innostrantsa is the coolest evar. :)

So today was kinda up and down... I didn't end up seeing much of the ren faire due to rain and a couple of other mitigating factors, but I did see inle_rah and dionethoughts and ladygwyn for a few milliseconds as I tossed towels down the stairs at them as they came charging in out of the first of several freak downpours. Which was funny.

Also sort of saw L for all of ten seconds. I say sort of, since she kept her back turned to me the entire time and didn't speak directly to me. le sigh. Oh well. Wound up spending a good portion of today upstairs hanging out with sydneycat watching ancient inventions on the History channel and cornroeing my hair. The daily battles between the fro and the humidity are proving extremely irritating, so I'm totally breaking out the yarn during game tomorrow. That will at least take care of it for the next three weeks. :P I did go to the fair though. It was a bit soggy by that point, but I did pick up a cute beaded necklace and cause I bougt more than one thing the chick selling them was all like, here, have a grab bag, and so I got some pretty dangly rose quartz and haematite earrings out of the deal. I win.
