last night was a good one, which was desperately needed after the batshit circus of the day. It started with some hangouts and tarot readings with aisha7576, anzovin and sundart, then after they skipped out for their own hangouts and shenanigans, aisha7576 and I hung out and caught up for a bit before heading upstairs to join the small party in progress at sydmor's. Lots o people! cell23 and chirping_monkey and wrpigeek and jade_eyes13. And of course, babycakes, who seems to have discovered a whole new range of expressions, sprouted a few teeth and is slowly learning the logistics of getting around using her feet. So a good get together was had... aisha7576 and morlock got to chat for a bit about Valleystink and polyamory, and sydneycat bought me the gorgeous amethyst necklace chirping_monkey had just finished making. *sigh* I need to get back into jewelry craft, I miss it. But anyway squee. It's also good to see that the makers of Give Me The Brain have moved up in the world beyond Cheap Ass Games and have actual cards now. :) And of course, any party with Mike's Hard is my kind of party.

I'm pleased to see aisha7576 unwinding some! Vacations are wonderful!!

Today's going to be soupy... I really hate sitting around and sweating for no reason... Sweat's kinda like a reward - I want to have earned it. You know? I don't mind if I'm actually doing something that warrants it, but I do not like sitting around soaking through t-shirts without provocation. Gah.

Well, hopefully there will be thunderstorms. :)
