Status report

I seem to be a little better right now. Now I just sort of moderately feel like shit instead of halfway being convinced that I was gonna die of bird flu. It was mostly the cold that did me in - I picked up a wicked chill/fever, so basically between sundart curling up next to me, four blankets plus a hot water bottle, and Theoden on my feet I managed to warm up enough to at least stop shivering. Ugh, that blew - I felt warm at the surface but freezing at the core, everything on my skin made me want to scream. I felt like someone had bonked me on the head and dosed me with safframate, only without the horny. Now I'm just sort of achy and stuffed up.

Figured I'd post on my way back to bed.

sleeping all day plus dayquil plus lots of water equals... ok, I feel a little better. at least, I can breathe through my nose for a while now. I'm still achey in the head and muscles and my digestive system's still off, but overall I think I've got this on the run. I hope.
