last night was mostly good - nipped out of work a little early (which was fine, since I'd nipped in a little early), came home, and was quickly followed by sunny and [livejournal.com profile] anzovin bearing dinner making stuff, and very soon afterward there was salmon steaks, pasta and spinach for dinner. I tell you, if there's one good thing about [livejournal.com profile] anzovin having a restricted diet all this time (it's getting better now) it's that he can rock the olive oil like nobody's business.

Somewhere in the cooking [livejournal.com profile] htl_1126 and [livejournal.com profile] drklord1922 came over bearing my wayward phone, herein known as the precious, just cause it's funny. much with the huggins and introducing them to the fuzzy beasts before they ran off to get their dinner. They're so much fun. Glad we're hanging out more.

Then there were burly men in tight pants flinging each other around and that was good. Apparently RAW got their asses kicked by Smackdown on the survivor series. And the Undertaker returned. Bah, stupid lack of payperview funds.

I have to wonder if Vince McMahon wakes up every morning and bounces out of bed with a huge shit-eating grin on his face and a mantra of "Goddamn I love my life/job."

Not that I'm going to get it, but that complete Buffy box set they released recently makes my heart go pittypat with desire. That and at $200, it's not a bad price at all. Hell, they charge more for a SINGLE season of ST:TNG, not to mention scads cheaper than the seven seasons all together. I don't blame people one bit for selling off their box sets, getting this one, and making a tidy little profit.

Though really... I wouldn't say no to a Nikon digital camera. A good one. Like the Coolpix 5000. Or if someone loaded loved me, the new SLR they've been advertising like fuckall everywhere.

Or a Nintendo DS.

Why no, I didn't inherit Dad's gadget-lust, whatever gave you that idea?
