Jun. 10th, 2006 04:44 amTonight's been surprisingly productive, surprisingly only because I came home from work and immediately dropped into bed, I was so gorram tired. I managed to roust myself around 9, and commenced hardcore pottering about.
so lessee, between 9PM and 4:15AM, I have managed to do two loads of laundry (whites/underwear and t-shirts), cornrow my hair in preparation for teh yarnage, work a buttload on work stuff (which, while aggravating, has a certain measure of geeky enjoyment to be gained from it), clean and swap out the catbox, and then take four bags of trash and a cubic assload of recycling out (we're talking about five trips up and down the stairs, not counting the wild goose chase up and down the back staircase chasing after a runaway Valentino). I was so pleased with myself and so hot and sticky after completing the various and sundry things that I doffed my shirt and strolled back into the building topless. Well, okay, actually that had more to do with me being hot and sticky and dead deserted in that way that 4AM can be, and there was a nice cool breeze. Now I'm all showered up and franky pigging out on my reward for being so productive - mainly having a smorgasbord of all the comfort foods I like that are a) in the house and b) don't have dairy, and washing it down with the highly addictive Trader Joe's organic lemonade that![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
morlock has managed to get me hooked on.
Later today I have to mind the work phone, and then there will be some Flat Switching, and then some yarning, and if the rest of my costume doesn't show up by tomorrow, an emergency trip to either Northampton or JoAnn's so I can bash together something out of the measure of stretch velvet I have lying around the house. Which maybe I should have done in the first place. Oh well. Anyways, it's going to busy tomorrow. *sigh* I suppose I ought to finish with the frenetic feeding and hit the sack.
