Snakes on Main

Dreamed a couple of nights ago that there was a terrorist attack on Northampton. (stop laughing, it gets better.) Some planes flew over and dropped crates on main street that broke open and released their cargo - live hungry pissed off venomous snakes.

At the time it was terrifying. But right now the image of a couple of copperheads and a cobra chasing affluent yuppies out of Zanna is chuckleworthy.

in other news, anyone else in the Valley rudely awakened by deafening apocalyptic thunder around 5:30 am this morning?

So I joined a comm of women who play WoW (wow_ladies) so I had somewhere to post silly WoW shit without boring everyone on my flist that doesn't play. ANyway this morning there was a post about whether the women who play tended to be more sensitive than their male compatriots - to plots, and to guild and PvP politics/drama. I had the following bit to say:

I do want to be as helpful as possible, so I always feel a little bad when people in my party die, especially when it happens just after I've fucked up my keys or ran out of mana or something. The group I'm in are good sports about it, but if I party up with anyone else, I feel really stupid. And yes, I HATE HATE HATE the /heal emote. YES. I KNOW. I can see your bars. I'm doing the best I can here. Maybe if you didn't pull four mobs on you at once you wouldn't be such a mana drain, you fuck.

It occurs to me that two weeks ago I wouldn't have known what the blessed fuck I was talking about.

I am both amused and horrified by this. Also by the fact that on the bus yesterday I saw a clump of pink flowers in the middle of someone's lawn and immediately thought "Oooh! Mageroyal!" *facepalm*

Someone (masteradept?) was asking what my 3 days were going to be... I'm thinking Wednesday, either thursday/friday, and Saturday.
