A bit better
Nov. 2nd, 2007 10:48 amHey
anzovin...
Last night was bad... spent most of it huddled under three blankets on the living room couch, with the creepy crawly oversensitive skin, every joint in my body aching, and the very thought of food was just too much with the nausea making. I did manage to choke down some toast around 4pm and
sydneycat made some absolutely phenomenal chicken soup for me later on, though with my stomach acting up the way it was I could only really manage the broth. The good news is that I'm somewhat better this morning, I have fun chalky calcium tablets to keep the pernicious acid reflux monsters at bay, and the ZOMG you're sick/stressed/something's wrong reaction my digestion has of, well, stopping production, shall we say, has abated somewhat. So I think I may at last be on the mend. A big bonus is that the smell of baking or cooking things is no longer making things worse. That only added to last night's misery, let me tell ya.
Today is sort of the wait and see sort of day (not to mention the absolute last day I feel I can take off of work without completely freaking out). I feel better now, but judging by the past couple of days I might feel awful around four. Considering
anzovin's birthday party AND the Rewind is tonight I'm going to try hard to take it easy, but I'm probably going to have to help pick up the house and do some chores today.
oh yeah, did some work on this here and there, too...

Still pretty much dialogue and the teenagers. Thinking of pulling in the other characters and some actual plot over the weekend. I set a rather grueling daily word goal (2000) so I'd have time at the end of the month to deal with thanksgiving and also to have some time to edit this thing into something coherent. I'm kind of enjoying the exercise so far. We'll see how well I keep up with it in the month ahead.
Well, no rest for the wicked. Time to shower, dress, and see if I can approach the vicinity of solid food without wanting to flee in the opposite direction with my hand over my mouth. If I can do those three things, the rest of today should be no real problem.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
