• Out of blue sometimes comes green. I was having a conversation with someone that by now qualifies as an old friend this morning and well... something came up. I don't know why every revelation that someone likes me that way comes as such a wait... what? eeek! why? sort of shock, even if it's something I've suspected for a while. Confirmation always triggers flattered bemusement. But anyway, it's always a happy bemusement, and goodness knows I could have used the extra smile this morning. I don't think anything'll come of that (goodness knows I'm burnt out relationshipwise right now), but it was nice to heaar nonetheless, especially as pretty much, it was reveal, thank you, tension easing teasing, and then right back to normal conversation.

Hulk was pretty good. Not going to throw my panties at it like i have been for Iron Man, but I did thoroughly enjoy myself during it's runtime, and I think I need that frame of Banner smirking into the camera as an icon.

Alas waking up early + loud movie + overheated + no coffee = I now feel a bit like someone has hammered an awl crosswise through my skull. Ow ow ow.

WHEEE NEW PHONE

I am back among the land of the callable, finally. I has a cute little Sony Ericsson thing now that is much with the sexy. Jesus. Even the cheap phones these days are crazy tricked out. LIVING IN THE FUTURE. WTH.

New phone of course means the requisite hour or so re-setting up preferences and of course pulling the old ringtones and pictures off of the old phone, which I just did with bluetooth. I have a usb cable for this one, so I can even toss on some new ones if I like - thinking of tracking down some GLaDOS sound bytes and Obidiah Stane yelling "TONY STARK WAS ABLE TO BUILD THIS IN A CAVE... WITH A BUNCH OF SCRAPS". Yeah, I don't know what I'd use it for, but it's a great sound byte.

Man. I took a lot of random pictures with the old phone. Most are kinda crappy but there were a few good ones in the pack that I'd forgotten about. Blah. Wish I knew where I'd stuck my bluetooth key for the computer... OH ha ha never mind, found it. That should make transferring shit easier. Wow. I don't think I've used this thing since i got Epeen.

Anyway, yay new phone. Off to play with setting some more until lostcircuit's party. Gods. I am such my father's daughter - nothing like shiny new toys to fix everything, at least temporarily. Though the phone call from jeanettez I just got that left us both bawling helped a lot too. :')
