Did not watch the debate past the first question. The second time McCain got to say something what little I had to eat today had this overwhelming urge to be outside of my body RIGHT THE HELL THEN. While I'd like to say it was actually due to McCain's odious visage, no such luck. I'd felt kinda crappy, sick and stomach-achey since this afternoon, which only got worse after I came home. Anyways, after I mopped up and changed I was summarily frog-marched to bed, so no debate for me. Which was probably a good thing, judging by others' accounts of it.

So much for going to work tomorrow. Been ordered to stay home and stay in bed. And call a doctor if I keep puking (so far only the once though) or my belly continues to hurt like hell. Hopefully I'll feel better enough to get some sleep soon. :(

Most of the upcoming movies this season I've been kinda meh about, but two of the trailers I've seen this week made me go "ooooh. Okay, I'll see that."

No, it's not a hitchcock remake with black people, though some of those beginning shots of Biggie do accidentally kinda remind me of hitchcock, lol. It's a biopic of the Notorious B.I.G. And it looks pretty good. There's a debate on how accurate it's going to be, if it's all going to be "West Coast == EVIL" or some shit and whether making this movie at all is just Sean Combs and Biggie's mother trying to further capitalize on the man's death ten years later. Still, it's got Angela Bassett in it, and generally her presence in a movie tends to be an instant integrity booster. So... we'll see.

So the bad things: it's directed and produced by the makers of Saw, and has an albeit unrecognizable Paris Hilton in it. HOWEVER. Not only does this look and sound amazing (it's like Sweeney Todd, Blade Runner, The Crow, and Moulin Rouge had a freaky bastard love child) but it has both Anthony Stewart Head in it (yes, Giles! SINGING. A LOT.) and the bag of overstuffed operatic crazy I affectionately call Sarah Brightman. (And you know, Paul Sorvino, because, hey I don't know if he ever turns down a gig where he gets to both sing and act a little nuts). Yeah... if this looks as fun as the trailer, I might have to forgive these guys for five Saw movies, especially if they were using the money made off of those to make this thing.


So food for thought... and now I have to get dressed cause my doc wants me to go to the ER. ARG.

Deja vu all over again

So. In the ER. Again. Posting using morlock's computer. Again. And to add insult to injury, I'm in the same room as last time. *headdesk*

Well they aren't sure what's actually wrong, but they did find out that my hemoglobin levels are lower than their usual anemic since my last round of blood tests in august. Apparently somewhere I've lost a lot of blood, so... getting a tranfusion and getting held overnight.

I figure if I feel okay enough to be extremely cranky about this, that's a good sign.
