Dance Card thus far: Valley
May. 6th, 2009 02:56 pmAss-Early Friday Morning: Leave NY.
Friday: hopefully will get a little office time in, depending on when I leave NY.
Friday night: open
Saturday: CDH for lab work (groan), Lunch with Di
Saturday night: Report to Allan's for kidnapping and then hangouts. Yeah that makes sense.
Sunday: Having some "What Mother's Day" hangouts with Jon.
Sunday night: open, if anyone doesn't feel like hanging with their moms all day.
Monday: Work, doc appointment. Open for lunchies.
Monday night: being that it's Monday, I should probably hang out with Drew. ;)
Tuesday: run to Worcester for rescheduled Drs appointment. Not sure whether I'm heading back to the Valley afterward or heading straight to NY from there.

Fun things to do with old pulp novels
May. 6th, 2009 03:27 pm
American photographer Thomas Allen constructs witty and clever dioramas using figures cut from the covers of old pulp paperbacks. Using salacious pulp art drawing’s of the ’40s and ’50s that covered books such as ” I Married a Dead Man” and ” Marihuana Girl’, Allen constructs one set of pictures up close while obscuring another, and in the process creates a different context. Each piece is given a brand new storyline, though never quite strays from their cheeky origins.
