jaicat in FOREVER, and am really glad to see her ths weekend. Miss dozing off with a tiny light person lying sprawled across my back or along my side, like a warm human pillow. Kitty's just light enough to do that without restriction to breathing or comfort. Mrrow!-
Had fun with Kitty anddarkling_dreams before much Chinese food was eaten and we all sped to CT where we all went to Primitive Leather to paw through the scarp bin (Kitty's making a book and wanted to try out leather - primitive_boy was very helpful in both that respect and in explaining the hanky code to us (I was grateful for the info myself, that was one aspect of Margaret Cho's Assmaster routine I didn't quite get). There was also much silliness, as we were the only ones in the shop, so there was much putting on of speculum(speculi?)-as-ducks puppet shows, darkling_dreams demonstrating her prowess with riding crops (yay short girls with riding experience!) and all of us marveling at the cool Zorro-like noises that canes make as they slice through air. The leather was cool too - saw some nice stuff and colors in the scrap bin. Am trying to come up with a project that would require ording a side of a cow of deep purple leather so I can get my gauntlets and some other cool ass thing. Not sure what though.
Kitty's got an ibook. Much coveting. Much drooling over OSX, rpbably the world's most beautifully designed GUI ever. A crying shape that PC OSes don't even compare. Need mes a Mac.
Armpits itch like a sonovabitch. Shaved them for the first time in like eight months cause of that meeting earlier. Stupid bankers. Bash em good. One of them - it's always only one: the armpits, not the bankers - is doing the highly annoying push-out-just-enough-hair-to-make-you-itch-like-crazy thing. Ow. That's right, this is why I don't do the whole razor thing anymore.
And tomorrow, there will be much anime . . .
