A bad dream and a long meme

kjpepperThe Couch of Closure in our living room, (don't ask) also seems to be the Keeper of Really Fucked Up Dreams.
I dreamed I was back at my parents' house and two of my sisters were pleading with me to clean my room. This was not an unusual occurance growing up, I was and am a bit of a slob and my room had a tendancy towards piles of stuff, things stuffed under the bed, overflowing closets, and dust. Never outright nastiness though. Just clutter. And then there was the squirrell that got loose in the house, couldn't find its way back out and died a lonely ignominious death under my bed about three years back, the only hints to its presence being an awful smell and a serious fly infestation that sent my parents running for the insect bombs. (My mom didn't find the corpse until weeks later... lucky for me the only part I was actually there for were the flies and the bombs, which kept me from sleeping upstairs anyway. But anyway, in this dream apparently I had had this massive seventeen course dinner party up there weeks before and had forgotten to clean up, as plates of spoiling food were absolutely everywhere. sundart and I decided that some of this was best disposed of by first eating it and then spitting it out somewhere. Ugh. I'm not going to forget the sensation of having to peel solidified pizza cheese from my palate with a fork and a great deal of force. Yecch.
Naturally I woke with an insane urge to dive for the Colgate and the Interplak.

Last good cry: Good cry? hmm. I've been sitting on one for about a week, but I don't think I'm gonna have it.

Last time wanting to die: sometime last week. But this is a fairly regular occurance.

Current annoyance(s): hungry, but dream put me off my feed for a while.

Current book(s): Anne McCaffrey - Crystal Singer (the only actually good book she's ever written, IMHO, as opposed to seriously guilty pleasure caliber space operas), Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita, Donaldson's The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, Unbeliever. Will be rereading the Black Jewels Trilogy and the latter books of Harry Potter shortly.
