I was going to do some kvetching about the weather, which really is quite nice, unless you're pushing groceries in a cart a mile and a half. Actually

sundart was pushing the groceries, I was just companionably hauling my bike. But alas, I cannot complain, for according to

rhipowered, it's going to be 95 tomorrow. *wibble* Oh. Boy. Later confirmed this with weather.com. Jeezus. It's even going to be hot in Wisconsin. Is it ever hot in Wisconsin??

I do have one legitimate complaint though - I have a rough scratchy throat and a dry cough that sounds suspiciously bronchial. Going to have to bring a flannel to work tomorrow, I think, and rest up. The last thing I need is to get sick.

Other than that, it's been a fairly low key day so far. Work was pretty mellow, Matt's back and for the first time in nearly three years we are sharing an office, whooo! Bosslady's back from vacation, and surprised us with a cubic assload of Bruegger's Bagels and lox. Mmm, Lox. It's really a lot like extremely salty sushi. But tasty!

iPod cable FINALLY got here today, stupid next BUSINESS day shipping. I looked at the package tracking, FedEx seriously dragged their heels with this one. And then, LOL I get this box, which is roughly 13" by 9" by 4" and stuffed with styrofoam peanuts, and all it contains is this tiny tiny assed box with my cable in it. Like 6" by 3" by 1.5". TINY. You really do pay for packaging.

Ah well.

sundart's going to her writers' group until late tonight so my agenda for the afternoon and evening is checking on the Airman, who did something fuckobazoo yesterday (some people, sheesh!), gleefully playing with my ipod, wiping and defragging soon to be

beatgoddess's Nomad, and then maybe some dishes and some Puzzle Pirates... Oh. I should probably call the 'rents, too.
