After gross fairy shopping I had quite an enjoyable productive rest of the day. I did end up taking![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sundart's bike and riding out to Hadley to pick up the iThing. Man I miss my bike... today was just perfect bike weather, a nice breeze, very sunny, not too hot... and I reveled in tearing down the bike path as fast as my legs could go. Biking makes me feel strong, and i like the fact that my speed is determined by my own thigh muscles. Even if they are sore at the end.
After the bikage, I had yummy dinner courtesy ofsundart's mad taco skillz, and then pottered around the house a bit, scrubbing the surface of the butcher block, changing the catboxes and sweeping the kitchen. I also had to sweep down the back steps due to a small accident with one of the bags of used cat litter, uck. But at least those are nice and neat now as well. I also dragged our shower curtain outside and bitchslapped 90% of the mildew on it. So... I'm feeling rather accomplished in the house tidying department. It was also fun to have inle_rah around for the day, and I think we helped her feel better. Whee.
More things that make me happy:
Last night when we were at the diner,gossamer_gull noticed a hand-lettered sign attached to an enormous platter of cookies that read "Please do not touch the COOKIES unless you intend to purchase them." She suggested to lysscat that the sign needed to become a T-shirt, and the dear girl delivered. Go buy one, kthx.
I made a fun paypal button for people who wanna send me birthday money. Even if you're broke go look. It's very giggle worthy, and I pride myself on the photochopping job I did with replacing what was originally in Gir and Zim's hands with presents. I am the photoshop goddess, BOW BEFORE ME. (waaaaaaaay, too much Invader Zim lately...) Other birthday stuff is shaping up verrrrry nicely as well. *bounce*
Taking out the trash tonight and rescuing the shower curtain, I happened to look into the sky. and was caught by the almost full moon and the stars. I am such a night kitty...
Now: Law&Order: SVU. Later: Brigham's Vanilla with Oreo Cookies. Life is gooooooooooood.
