kjpepperI just got 20 bucks from England in the mail today.
The reasons why this is fabulous:
- $20. From England. Think about that for a sec. It's pretty amusing, really.
- It came in a gorgeous card with peacocks and marbling and gold accents. Pretty!
- What sort of acrobatics had to be done to send me a birthday card from overseas and have it arrive on time? :)

Date: 2004-10-08 02:02 am (UTC)The reason there's a 20 in England is because I came back with a pile of green last time and haven't yet had a chance to come back and spend it, and as I don't consider it part of my personal fortune (cough), since it's worthless here and just sits there, dammit, while you lot could be using it, I feel compelled to keep sending it to ppl who can use it... and as I said, consider it a birthday pressie from an amateur webster with a somewhat less than amateur website, thanks to your advice!
