long nights

I posted a little bit about this before, but since this morning I have this feeling that things are heading in an interesting new direction. Well, maybe not exactly new, but towards a period of settling down and achieving some semblance of stability and maybe even prosperity, like the past year had been a hard time of work, missteps, filling in weak areas, chipping out bad rock, and sometimes rebuilding whole sections, I've got some semblance of a foundation to take off from. Now comes the hard thing of picking a direction and facing the challenges ahead bravely, always a tough thing.
The reason I'm posting this sort of again is that I feel like this is true for quite a few people, not just me, like there will be a short time of peace and maybe a little prosperity, especially for those who never quite seem to find the two in tandem. Unfortunately I also feel like this time will be short and the new calendar year as opposed to the new pagan year will present a host of new challenges. But if this feeling I have proves true... I wish everyone all the joy possible in these lengthening nights.
