kjpepperNo school. Noth. new to rept. I exercised cause I'm running in the Colgate women's Games.
I love the fact that I had to mention that I didn't have school, seeing as it was a Saturday.
Colgate was always fun - anyone could enter! I never expected to win anything, as I was a little asthmatic shrimpnoid, but I always had fun dashing haphazardly for short distances. They were always held at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, whose gymnasium had this very distinctive zigzag pattern. Anucha would always go over there to run or play basketball with her old coach . . . was his name Freddy? yeah . . . he was always nice to me. I think Anucha also taught me to shoot a basketball there too. Never could get the hang of a lay-up, but I did have a pretty good average from the foul line from those lessons. *sigh* sometimes I miss basketball . . .
