Dec. 19th, 2004 02:06 amBehold, my Amadeus inspired icon.
Spent a quiet evening watching movie with the girls. I think I like the director's cut of Amadeus. I didn't think the extra scene in Katarina's dressing room was necessary, but the extra bit of horribleness between Salieri and Constanze was well done, and explains her complete hatred of him at the end. Not to mention ohhhh, 18th century underwear was hot. Uncomfortable, but teh yummy.
Later on I went over to
morlock's and helped him move the bigger crap into his new room at the f4rmh0u53. Jeezus. Comparing the old to the new is a bit like comparing a postage stamp to a racquetball court. It echoes in there. I was over there until fairly late today, but I was just chilling out - slept wicked late, ate lunch, had another nap. I think I made up the sleep I patently didn't get either the night before or really last night - we didn't get to sleep until maybe 3:30. Which is silly, considering he had to go to work at like 9 this morning.
Got some running around and some serious stuff to do tomorrow. Bah. I want it to be Tuesday already damnit.

Date: 2004-12-20 10:36 am (UTC)Ahem. Harman Hay, purveyors of eighteenth-century underwear, a votre service, Mademoiselle. You know how good you'd look in muslin and calico against all that chocolatey skin, dear.
That's a damn fine idea, you know. Open an antiquated underwear store. I always wanted to open a store that'd be like the little shops in Harry Potter - all Dickensian multi-paned windows and uneven wooden floors, and little wooden cupboards and drawers that go back for miles. And behold, it can be done with minimal cost on Ye Olde Internette. Watch this space.
