kjpepperdear goddess.
so - it waas another one of those days which are at once too long and not long enough. As for why... Lets just say I'm probably going to be working on Saturday. *whine* But that aside... I'm fairly good right now, other than the fact that I haven't had any ibuprofen in almost 48 hours and when I breathe deep my shoulder twinges. Yikes. But that's neither here nor there. It's mostly been a good couple of days.
A quick note to everyone currently embroiled in life or LJ drama, show me a copy of this LJ entry and I'll treat you to hugs and ice cream.

sydneycat and I had our usual Wednesday night movie date last night, featuring Cursed, which was a laugh riot of werewolf and celebrity ridiculousness. Everything a bad horror movie should be, really. I mean... it was the sort of bad horror movie where a fully pissed off werewolf gives someone the finger. THE FINGER. Anyway, syd and I laughed ourselves silly, drooled at Christina Ricci, and had a raucously good time.
I went over tomorlock's after that... *kitty grin* naughtiness aside, I'm starting to develop a liking for Justice League cartoons. So weird, the unlikely things you get into when you're with someone... sundart got me into plants, harinezumi and Wyeth into sci-fi/fantasy, timarok left me with an appreciation for country music, and the more time I spend with morlock the more I find myself liking superhero comics/cartoons... interesting, to be sure.
I found something wicked cool awaiting me when I got home too - my River's Edge order finally FINALLY came in today! (jesus, I know they said allow 5 weeks for your order... but I ordered this shit like, Dec 29th!) I now have a brand new black long sleeved unitard, as well as a tank top unitard. I also have this diaphanous, handkerchief hemmed purple confection that's trying really hard to be a skirt. Very happy. Yes.
tonight, the girl and I settle in for a rewatching of The Hudsucker Proxy (mmm Coen Bros!), and hopefully I can do some laundry as well. Clean sheets are good.
