kjpepperPride was wicked fun. There was gay fabulousness everywhere, and Bosslady's DogHamptonmobile, with the help of a big gentle great dane, a small poodle dyed pink by giving her a bath in cherry juice, and of course, Cisco & Dottie, was a smash.
My purple getup got lots of compliments from gay bois. Especially my hat. I ended up tying my feather boa around the top hat, and somehow the result was so fabulous that I got compliments right and left. Proof positive that a black woman can wear a hat of any size and ridiculousness and it will be great.
There's at least one picture. I'll put it up later.
Back home now, and exhausted - between the marching, the standing on line for food, and the longer than estimated walk from the field to the closest atm and back, my legs are utterly killing me. I overdid it a bit, I think, but I had fun, so no regrets. I just have to take it easy for a couple of days.
Plan for the rest of the day - hot shower and sandwich, most definitely. After that, not sure...
