And the heatwave continues. blerggh.

This afternoon was one of those days where it's pretty blah and you have trouble remembering what you did . . . I fixed a bug in the dragonsea.net page and now it pulls out the right files correctly but it's still wasn't doing the time of day thing right until I had [livejournal.com profile] harinezumi look at it a little while ago, and we figured out what was wrong with it. Shoot me. Better yet, gimme a copy of PHP editor.

Other than that I didn't do all that much today. Took a small nap around the time that sundart left for work, awoke to an empty house as beat and the boy had gone to see T3. Played around on the pooter a little bit, did the whole call around after Shanti's flight info (after a bit of thought found it a little disturbing that considering the whole airline security bullshit I could still just grab absolute confirmation that he was on that plane with not very much digging - suppose I were stalking him?), I watched Moulin Rouge! again too (the good parts - all hail DVD!) Still amazed by the fact that the Roxanne Tango/Why Does My Heart Cry sequence still fricking gives me goosebumps with it's chilling intensity, especially if you are paying attention to what ultimately happens to the dancer protraying the whore in the Narcoleptic Argentinian's dance. It's a split second shot, but wow, it's packs more of a punch that what's happening to Satine simultaneously... if you're paying attention.

Beat and the Boy came home, cooked a ten course meal that couldn't be beat (nod to Arlo Guthrie, and no pun intended I swear!), and I called [livejournal.com profile] darkling_dreams to talk over some stuff I had been meaning to tell her for a while. Thanks for listening, sweetie!

Gotta figure out where these damn bugs are coming from. The ones gravitating all over the screen are mostly small enough to get through our screens, but there are all manner of moths, mosquitoes and other little winged things flitting around. I still think it's a bit of a cosmic joke that things like mosquitoes are given the power of flight, and we aren't.

That's all the profoundness I've got for one night, I think. oyasuminasai!
