And the parade of rediscovered icons continues.

So many people going through challenges right now, from painful PC muscle strains to difficult decisions regarding dear friends. My love and thoughts to all of them, both reading this journal and not.

As for me... not all that much going on besides an idle wondering at how to make one's mattress softer besides hiring a passel of porn stars to have lots of bouncy, energetic sex on it. is there such a thing as a removable pillowtop? Probably. Not like I have monies for such extravagances, but it would be nice if I or anyone else didn't have to wake up sore after sleeping on it.

That's all. I should get my carcass moving now. Buses wait for no person... well except that chickie who holds up the bus every morning transferring at Umass.

If you were going to be extravagant, I would recommend the memory foam mattress pads...they are really good.

You can buy cheaper mattress toppers, made of a variety of materials that can make your bed a little more squishy, if you like that sort of thing. =)

Or, jump on the bed. Jumping on beds is a highly underrated activity, which should not be reserved for children. Just watch out for your head.

Drop the cash on a foam topper, and on a pillow top mattress pad.
Then, drop a little more cash on a high thread count 100% cotton fitted sheet with deep pockets so that mattress pad and topper can fit underneath.

Much joy and comfort will follow.

Jim and I have a memory foam mattress topper, it was $20 at Target. If you go to Wal-Mart or Target you will find a variety of mattress toppers.
