So apparently coffee is to [livejournal.com profile] sundart as spinach is to Popeye... goddamn, she becomes a maniac on caffiene. (btw, adding a pinch of clove powder to creamed hazelnut coffee = teh heavenly.) Several hours later between her, me and [livejournal.com profile] anzovin, we've rearranged my room, her room and our living room. So now my room has quite the bednest, her room's become the bastion of sitting/computing/DVD watching goodness and the living room... well, it still isn't really developed into anything yet, but the furniture's rearranged. It's weird, and kinda cool.

What's also weird is that the sinus headache/migraine keeps threatening to come back. Still on the left side too. Granted the coffee probably didn't help, but fuck. Fuck... I'm sick of this already, go away.

Plans for this week are falling into place, and hopefully I can make it a good one. The house rearranging allowed for the creation of some sacred space, which I hope to take advantage of. The end of the year is upon me, and I need to work towards tying loose ends now. And hopefully some fresh starts can be made in the cold, slowly lengthening days of January. It is time.

*deep breath*

For right now though - if I don't get my butt into the kitchen for dinner, the black mama living in [livejournal.com profile] sundart's ass is gonna get me.

hm, i'll have to give clove powder a try at some point. a pinch of cinnamon thrown in before brewing can be quite nice depending on the blend. nutmeg will work on others, but i don't recommend putting it into the basket like with cinnamon; nutmeg turns bitter if it's brewed with the coffee. it's better added after the coffee has been poured.
